SUBMISSIONS

The 2023 Fall Competition is opens in August. We accept submissions exclusively through FilmFreeway.

Earlybird Deadline - September 30, 2023

Regular Deadline - December 31, 2023

We have five different contest categories:

 

SHORT SCREENPLAYS - Scripts no more than 40 pages long. All submissions receive scorecard and up to 2 pages of notes.

 

FEATURE SCREENPLAYS - Scripts no more than 120 pages long. All submissions receive scorecard and up to 3 pages of notes.

 

FIRST 10 PAGES - In this category our judges focus solely on the first ten pages of a script with special attention to its ability to hook a reader. All submissions receive scorecard and notes.

 

SCRIPT SYNOPSIS - The one-page synopsis is crucial tool for writers seeking representation or production consideration. Submissions into this category are evaluated on important elements such as structure, flow, grammar, and the ability to garner interest. Submissions may not be longer than a single page and will receive evaluation notes.

 

LOGLINE - A well-crafted logline is essentially the "calling card" of any script. All submissions for this category receive evaluation notes.
